Alexi Freeman began his creative journey as an artist in Hobart, attending the University of Tasmania majoring in printmaking and sculpture. He then continued to hone his aesthetic in New York, developing his practice bridging art, fashion and costume, before returning to Melbourne to launch his eponymous fashion label (est. 2006). Since then Freeman’s fierce determination and creative energy combined with his nous for business have created a strong platform from which his brand continues to grow.

Monday – Friday 9-6pm you can find Alexi *by appointment* in his natural habitat, head down bum up at his light filled studio and showroom in Fitzroy. When he’s not there, you can also find him taking time out to smell the roses, lying in fragrant grasses, cooking up a storm, practising astanga yoga, rocking out to Melbourne’s incredible live music scene, rocking out in general, or putting in the hard yards for his teammates at The Tote Hotel Football Club.
